  1. Install  Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS.

  2. Create a folder called dev in your home directory
    Clone our cpm software repository into your a folder called dev-folder by typing:
    cd ~/dev

    git clone https://github.com/embedded-software-laboratory/cpm_lab.git
    you have to enter your git username and password
     dev


  3. Prepare to run our installation script by getting a license.dat-file for the RTI DDS Connext Service (ask your supervisor if you are a student or get into contact with RTI)

  4.  Run our script to install all necessary components.  In the software- folder you have just cloned you find 'install.sh'.

  5. Reboot your PC to avoid running source /etc/profile.d/rti_connext_dds.sh in every terminal you open.

  6. Run the build script.
